Terms of use
Effective October 17, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Shakaib LLC ("we", "us"), a New Jersey limited liability company, and cover your use of the CQRME browser extension ("CQRME") and the cqrme.com website. By installing or using CQRME, you agree to them.
Early access
CQRME is currently offered free as an early-access release. Features may change, and early-access software may contain bugs. Keep an encrypted backup of your vault (Vault › Import & export › Download encrypted backup).
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for your master password, your PIN and your backups. Because CQRME is zero-knowledge, we cannot recover a forgotten master password or a lost vault.
- Use CQRME only for accounts and data you are authorized to use, and in line with applicable laws.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use CQRME. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, resell, decompile or reverse engineer CQRME, or publish it under another name, except where the law expressly allows it.
Trademarks
CQRME, Secure ME, and the CQRME shield logo are trademarks of Shakaib LLC. You may not use them in a way that suggests endorsement or creates confusion.
No warranty
CQRME is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or access to accounts, arising from your use of CQRME.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept it. You can stop using CQRME at any time by removing the extension.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
